Casa Benussi apartment is on the 2nd floor in a much photographed Venetian Gothic house in prime position on the main square of the medieval town of Vodjnan in Istria. The heavily worn flagstones in the cool entrance hall are a reminder of nearly 600 years of footfall in what was once a prime location. The recent renovation has preserved much of the original fabric and added modern services and appliances. The rooms are very spacious and airy with great views from all 9 windows! Many guests have commented on the delight of having a perfect perch to watch life unfold in the town square. The roof terrace is a lovely spot for an evening drink, (though access is not suitable for the elderly or infirm).
